Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement

Learning
This module explores change management and stakeholder engagement as leadership practices. It is designed for professionals working at the intersection of digital transformation, sustainability, and innovation in fashion.

Across seven lessons, you will understand the principles, frameworks, and practical tools to plan, lead, communicate, and sustain change in real conditions, from defining direction and engaging stakeholders to supporting adoption, measuring impact, and embedding new practices into the culture and operations of your organisation.

By the end of this module, you will be able to:
  • Explain why digital and sustainability transformation requires organisational and people-related change, not only technology adoption
  • Distinguish between managing change and leading change and exercise leadership influence regardless of formal authority
  • Plan transformation initiatives by defining a clear future state, mapping stakeholder impact, and setting priorities and success criteria
  • Communicate the purpose of change clearly and credibly and tailor engagement to diverse internal and external audiences, including suppliers
  • Create the conditions for adoption during implementation by supporting learning, responding to resistance constructively, and designing pilots for transferable learning
  • Sustain transformation through reinforcement, measurement, and embedding new practices into culture and governance
  • Reflect on change initiatives as learning platforms and contribute to building organisational change maturity over time
