We collect only what we need to run DigiFashHub. This policy explains what that is, why we need it, and what you can do about it.

We love you communication AB is the data controller for DigiFashHub. If you have any questions about your data or this policy, contact us via the contact form on the platform.

02 What We Collect and Why

Account Data

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. You may also provide an optional job title and organisation. This data is used solely to operate your account and personalise your experience on the platform.

Usage Data

DigiFashHub is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure within the EU. When you visit the platform, basic connection data (IP address, browser type) is processed by our infrastructure provider as a necessary part of serving the site. We use anonymous, aggregate analytics to understand how the platform is used (see Analytics and Monitoring below for details). We do not build individual behavioural profiles, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies: one to keep you signed in and one anonymous, temporary identifier used for aggregate site analytics (see Analytics and Monitoring below). Neither cookie is used for tracking individuals, profiling, or advertising, and no third-party cookies are set.

Learning Progress

If you enroll in courses or modules, we store your progress as well as any quiz or exercise responses you submit. This data is associated with your account and is used only to provide the learning experience.

04 Third-Party Processors

We share data only with the following processors, under data processing agreements, as necessary to operate the platform:

  • Hetzner (EU): server infrastructure and hosting.
  • Cloudflare: network security and content delivery. Cloudflare processes connection data as described in their privacy policy.
  • Bunny Fonts (EU): font delivery. No personally identifiable data is collected or logged.
  • Resend: transactional email delivery (account confirmations, password resets, notifications). We share only your email address and the content of the message.
  • AppSignal (EU): error and performance monitoring, to keep the platform stable and secure. See Analytics and Monitoring.
  • PostHog (EU): anonymous, aggregate site analytics. No individual profiles are created and no data is linked to your account. See Analytics and Monitoring.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

05 Analytics and Monitoring

We use two third-party services to help us keep DigiFashHub running well and understand how it's used. Neither requires your consent to operate, for the reasons set out below.

  • Error and Performance Monitoring: AppSignal
    We use AppSignal, operated by AppSignal B.V. in the Netherlands, to monitor the technical performance of DigiFashHub and to diagnose errors when something breaks. AppSignal collects technical data about requests to our servers, such as which page was requested and how long it took to respond, and details of any error that occurs. Sensitive fields, including passwords, tokens, and personal names, are excluded before this data is sent to AppSignal. This processing is necessary for our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning platform.

  • Site Analytics: PostHog
    We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand general usage patterns on DigiFashHub, such as which pages are visited and how people navigate the platform. Each visitor is assigned a random, temporary identifier that is not linked to your account or to any other identifying information, and that expires when you close your browser. We do not build individual user profiles, and we do not collect IP addresses. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the platform; because the data is anonymous and cannot be linked back to a specific person, it does not require your consent under EU cookie and tracking rules.

06 Fonts and External Resources

DigiFashHub loads fonts from Bunny Fonts, a GDPR-compliant font service hosted within the EU. No data is shared with Google or any other third-party font provider.

07 How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems immediately. Learning progress data is deleted along with your account. We may retain anonymised, aggregated data (with no connection to your identity) for platform improvement purposes.

Technical monitoring data is retained separately from your account and is never linked to it. AppSignal retains error and performance data for 5 days and log data for 14 days. PostHog retains anonymous analytics events for up to 1 year before they are automatically deleted.

08 Your Rights

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data (right to erasure).
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

09 Security

Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes and are never readable by us. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

10 Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify registered users by email and update the date at the top of this page.
