The essential knowledge for someone working on this field, is the knowledge of how circular economy works – design for reuse, repair, recycling, and reduced waste, sustainable materials– choose low-impact, organic, recycled, or innovative fibers, resource efficienct– minimize water, energy, and chemical use, ethical labor – ensure fair wages, safe conditions, and respect for workers’ rights, tranparency– trace and disclose supply chains to build accountability, responsible business models– resale, rental, repair, upcycling, and slow fashion.
Also compliance and standards– follow sustainability policies, eco-labels, and certifications and consumer engagement– avoid greenwashing; promote mindful consumption.
